About the Panelists

Fred Sheeler
Fred Sheeler has served Berks County as Recorder of Deeds from 2008–2020 and again beginning in 2024. His office oversees real estate transactions and related documents, including liens, land plans, and veterans’ records. Under his leadership, electronic records were implemented, making documents dating back to 1752 available online.

Suzanne Myers
Suzanne M. Myers was sworn in as Register of Wills and Clerk of Orphans’ Court on January 9, 2023. She has worked in the Register of Wills office for more than 35 years, beginning in 1988, and has served as Office Manager and Chief Deputy prior to her appointment.

Recognized for her deep knowledge of probate and estate administration, Suzanne has been a panelist and presenter at numerous professional seminars throughout Berks County. She leads an experienced team known for providing professional, compassionate, and efficient service to county residents.
